Job Title: Head Facility Management & Real Estate – India
Role Type: People Manager
Location: Pune
Role reports to: Head of People Services
Job Summary:
We are looking for a purposeful and self-driven senior leader to help us excel in our Real Estate, Facility Management and Administration of our corporate infrastructures at a Pan India level. The role encompasses both developing strategy and execution of the strategies to create an excellent service delivery mechanism for the best employee experience, while focusing on best cost and value proposition.

SKF is committed to building and maintaining world class infrastructure across multi locations which consists of factories and offices. The Real Estate, Facility Management & Administration team continuously works to redefine the experience of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administration Management - Partner with various SKF business teams to develop and implement effective administration policies and practices along with reviewing and updating the same on a regular basis. Develop, manage, and control the budgets and drive effective strategies for managing vendors and partners.
The Administration function encompasses areas of work including –
- Travel Management – Travel Partnerships, Airline contracts, MICE, Land Transport, Club Memberships, Hotels etc.
- Expense Management - Forex Card, Corporate/Business Travel Account
- Communication Management - Mobile Phones, COCP connections, data cards, landlines etc.
- Insurance Management – Drive the managing of various employees & nonemployees SKF insurance policies for SKF In India.
- 3rd party contract staff – Overall responsible for overseeing entire life cycle for 3rd party staff from hire to exit
2. Facility Management – Develop and execute the right strategies for ensuring best in class facility management practices. This would include work areas like:
- Oversee at a strategic level all facility management functions including housekeeping, transportation, front office operations, guest and visit management, and telecommunication services at the Pune site and for the facility management operations at other sites through respective site administrators.
- Security Arrangements: Drive a Security Strategy and ensure robust security arrangements at all sites to safeguard employees, visitors, and company assets.
- Office Space Allocation: Allocate and manage office space to meet the needs of various departments and teams. Ensure efficient use of space and resources for all the sites in India with support from the local teams.
3. Real Estate Management -Manage the entire Real Estate portfolio for India. Work with the regional management team & global real estate team to decide on footprint expansion & optimization & support on various real estate projects in the region ranging from setting up new offices, movement of existing offices & warehouses, closure of offices etc.
4. Vendor Management – All the activities under Real Estate , Facility management and Administration are executed through vendors. Managing the contracts which includes timely renewals is a critical responsibility which calls for high level of cost awareness and collaboration with all related stakeholders.
5. Execution Excellence and Project Management - Lead the execution of organization wide initiatives for Facility Management & Administration, including formulating the process, aligning key stakeholders, and overseeing the transactions on-ground and timely execution of Projects across the sites .
6. People Management - Build a strong team by creating authentic and engaging experience for the team members through touchpoints like the selection, performance management, team engagements, career and development interventions and supporting through day-to-day work activities.
7. Partnerships - Liaise with key stakeholders internally & externally (including vendors, partners, government agencies and other organizations) to build a future focused Facility Management & Administration team delivering the best services.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor in any stream. Having an MBA qualification will be addedz
- 15 plus years of leadership level experience in facility management & administration in large organization with multiple sites in IT, ITES or Manufacturing organizations.
